MIG/MAG welding: build a metal lampshade

A non-profit project space in Neukölln, founded in 2014, that is part workshop, part gallery: a well-equipped workshop for wood and foam, a self-built CNC machine, and a changing cast of artists and instructors. That makes for workshops you will not find elsewhere: weld your own metal lampshade with MIG/MAG, make a silver ring, tuft a small rug over a weekend, shape lollipops in the Japanese sugar art of amezaiku, screen print, cyanotype, zines, or build and play your own MIDI instrument. About ten members run it together, and they work a lot with schools and institutions, at their space or on site. Their idea for each workshop: you learn about a theme, often from Berlin history, and make a small piece together that you take home as your own souvenir. No experience needed.
