Clay in an artist studio building on the RAW-Gelände. The Tuesday evening group has no fixed start or end — beginners and improvers work side by side, picking up techniques as their own pieces call for them, up to seven at a time. Clay, tools, glazes and both firings are included: once your work has dried you come back to glaze it, so you leave with finished stoneware you shaped yourself. Wheel throwing runs one-to-one by appointment, and confident throwers can take the studio’s single wheel spot during the group session.
