Monique Wiesner’s Berlin label makes wallets from a plastic-free, waterproof material that does what leather used to — bold, minimal, washable at 60°. Her workshops use the same stuff. In one you build your own wallet, card case or clutch and choose the colours, shapes and details as you go; in the other you make statement jewellery in full 80s neon, where glitter and wild shapes are the point. Four people upwards for the wallets, five for the jewellery, one to two hours, every material and tool provided, and a material chat about what this stuff actually is. She comes to your space, or hosts at Grimms Garten in Mitte.
